Murphy’s Law Meets MoodleMates (…But Good News!)

Hey MoodleMates Family,
I’m not sure how many of you are familiar with Murphy’s Law—it says: “Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong.”
Well, let’s just say… Murphy decided to stop by our production line.
Here’s a bit of insight on the rollercoaster of the last weeks:
Curious Chimp’s Didn't Like It's Scent Pack 🐒🌿
I designed the scent packs to be extra potent and long-lasting.
Turns out, they were too big to fit into Curious Chimp—yes, even though the factory had the final samples!
→ Result: A full Curious Chimp remake. Ouch.
The Fancy Plush Bag Fiasco 🎁
I designed a beautiful reusable organic cotton bag with the MoodleMates logo and other branded details — perfect for gifting and storage.
After testing… every bag came out super wrinkled and honestly not worthy of your MoodleMate.
→ Result: Bag idea dropped to avoid any further delays.
Despite these hiccups, the quality inspection went mostly smooth—and the most important news:
✨ Your plushies are now officially on the way to our fulfillment centers!
They’ll soon start their journey to you.
Meanwhile, I’ve been busy building a shiny new e-commerce store, which I think you’ll love—I can’t wait to show you and get your feedback. Oh, and some other cool MoodleMates-ey surprises I hope you and your kids will enjoy.
Thank you for your patience. It’s been a ride full of surprises (some a bit scary, some more delightful), but we’re moving forward - and still on track with schedule. Your MoodleMates are coming, can’t wait for you to meet them in person!

🎉 Production Finished! Final Touches Underway 🧸✂️

Hi everyone,
I’m excited to share that production of all MoodleMates plushies is officially finished! 🎉 It’s been an incredible (and intense!) journey seeing these little characters come to life — and we’re now entering the final stretch.
We recently completed our quality inspection, and while the majority of units look great, there were a few that needed some final corrections — think minor stitching or shaping issues. Nothing major, but we want to make sure that every MoodleMate arrives in the best possible condition.
✅ The good news:
We’re still tracking on schedule and working closely with our factory to fix those small imperfections quickly and carefully. The goal (see Kickstarter page timeline) is to ship to the fulfillment centers by the end of the month at the latest.
😅 The honest truth:
I’m really glad we built some buffer time into the timeline — because wow, it takes a lot to get everything just right.
Thank you again for your patience and support. I’ll share another update soon as we move into the freight & fulfillment phase!
